Shell access now enabled, among other features. Check out the README files contained within the archives.

Cacti VAs are now based on two virtual hard disks by default, allowing for easy expansion and migration of existing data.

These are unofficial releases and will not appear on the main site for the time being.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Is there a mechanism in place currently for migrating to this version? I am running what I take to be the first (and only?) release thus far, 1.0.075 or something like that? Or do I have to somehow export my configs and data, or is it even possible?

P.S. New phpBB looks nice!

The process is mostly manual, although don't be scared off because it's not difficult.

Basically, backup your MySQL database in your existing Cacti VA, add your existing Cacti installation as a hard disk in the new VA, migrate the Cacti data over, shutdown, remove the 3rd hard disk, and boot the new Cacti VA. Once rebooted, restore the Cacti data and MySQL database and you're good to go.

Of course, I've oversimplified the procedure, but it's relatively straightforward. It would be basically the same procedure for updating to a new version of Cacti with the exception of having to mount the existing Cacti VMDK in the new build.
